On the occasion of the new Millennium, Bösendorfer has created a piano which not only marks an historical turning point, but situates the piano in a continuum which celebrates its highest present embodiment of an instrument which has itself already been with us for a full quarter-millennium!

From this spirit, style elements of the first half of the last century characterize this model's classic appearance and give an elegant touch to the fine workmanship of the music desk, the lyre, and the unique legs. Pommele veneer has been used for the manufacturing of the fallboard, the key blocks and the inner rim. Its fine grain makes a beautiful surface and its warm color of tone harmonizes perfectly with the otherwise elegant black of the piano.
